Just Me and my Mobile. Video streaming.

Here in Malaysia, people take a perverted pride in being a 'mobile phone-centric culture'. SMS is so ingrained into our communication vocab that it is usually the preferred method of contact, for sender and receiver.

Yet, as i go around, raving about watching Catchup TV on mobile, or acessing YouTube...i'm greeted with blank looks that..no, they're not blank, they're sympathtic looks!

"Oh no, Paul's caught the Mobile TV bug again.."

Why would people who already accept phones to send text data, who already massively accept watching CatchUp TV and Youtube on a PC/Laptop, not be able to accept that watching all that video on Mobile is a brilliant experience?



Probably because they havent FELT the need...yet...right?...maybe, but this is missing the point that i feel about mobile video...its FREEDOM!

No more lugging a laptop around, no more needing tablespace...just me and my mobile. It really feels that good:)
